Royal Family was 'intimidated' by 'buzz' over Meghan Markle 'Wanted her to get out!'

Meghan Markle shocked Palace aides by immediately voicing her opinion and generating a "huge buzz" in the media, a royal expert claimed. Despite media scrutiny usually being intense for all royal women, The Firm were "intimidated" by Meghan and either wanted her to be "disciplined" or to leave the Royal Family.

Royal Instagrammer Alex, who has gained a reputation among royal fans for her Duchessmmgrace Instagram page, said: "The buzz around Meghan was expected because it happens with every royal woman, I think it was obviously unique for Meghan in many ways because of her race and being American.

"I think it showed how intimidated The Firm was by her, and I obviously have to think it was her being a woman of colour too and being beautiful and strong and intelligent and opinionated.

"I'm sure there were a lot of white men there who didn't expect this woman of colour to come in and say 'I have an opinion and I'm going to voice it and I'm not just going to clip it and Harry said okay'.

"I think that just shows how bad the jealousy was, because if they would have just sat back it would have been smoothed out, there wouldn't be this huge buzz around her like there always is.

"After a good five years, it always calms down but I feel like they were so intimidated by her that they just wanted her to be either disciplined or get out without Harry, and I think that was really sad."

Meghan Markle joined the Royal Family in May 2018 after she married Prince Harry at St George's Chapel, Windsor.

The former American actress had been in a relationship with the Queen's grandson since the summer of 2016 when they were introduced on a blind date.

Both Prince Harry and Meghan have said that after meeting the Royal Family, she was well-received and members of the family, including Prince William and Kate, were "welcoming" towards her.

However, her relationship with Buckingham Palace soured after a number of internal rifts over Meghan's behaviour towards household staff.

Rumours of a feud between the Cambridges and the Sussexes began to circulate in 2018, after Harry and Meghan split from Kensington Palace and established their own charitable endeavour.

It has since been claimed that the rift began after Prince William confronted his brother over the allegations that Meghan had been rude to Palace aides and had reduced one PA to tears.

Meghan has denied all accusations of bullying and has said that these allegations form part of a "calculated smear campaign" designed to discredit her character.

In January 2020, the couple announced that they would be withdrawing from their roles as senior royals and would be relocating to California.

They have since conducted a number of interviews where they have discussed their reasons for leaving and addressed their ongoing feud with the Royal Family.

Meghan Markle alluded to racism during her solo interview with Oprah Winfrey, claiming that a senior member of the Royal Family had made a racist remark about their unborn son.

The couple also suggested that jealousy over their successful South Pacific tour was the root cause of their rift with Prince William and Kate in the autumn of 2018.

Prince Harry said: "It was the first time that the family got to see how incredible [Meghan] is at the job."

When asked by Oprah if there were hints of jealousy, the Duke said: "I just wish that we would all learn from the past".
