Oklahoma vs. Nebraska score: Live game updates, college football scores, NCAA top 25 highlights

Nebraska's defense gets another huge stop after forcing Oklahoma into a 54-yard field goal. Since completing 7-of-8 passes on his first drive, Spencer Rattler is just 1-of-4 for five yards. 

Nebraska appears to be playing deep safety coverage, forcing the Oklahoma offense to dink-and-dunk down the field. But with only two scholarship running backs to rely on, Oklahoma is hesitant to run the ball – and Nebraska is making them pay. 

Oklahoma –

After a clean first drive, Rattler is getting a little trigger-happy. He thought he saw Mario Williams down the field, but Williams was triple-covered by the time the ball arrived. Rattler had a pair of interceptions against Tulane, which allowed the Green Wave to stay in the game. 

Oklahoma and Nebraska's first drives weren't dissimilar. The Sooners went for 80 yards. Nebraska traveled 72 yards. Oklahoma averaged 5.7 yards per play to Nebraska's 5.5. Unfortunately, four terrible offensive line penalties meant Nebraska had to settle for a long field goal. Still, Adrian Martinez did well under pressure and played a part in a pair of third down conversions and Nebraska's only fourth down attempt. 

Brutal unnecessary roughness penalty on center Cam Jurgens pushes the Cornhuskers to the edge of field goal range, but Connor Culp calmly names a 51-yarder. Four offensive linemen had penalties on the opening drive, but Martinez found a way to generate points anyway. Martinez had 74 total yards on the scoring drive. 

Gutsy call from Scott Frost to take things to the air on 4th-and-3, but those are the kinds of plays you need to make as a huge underdog on the road. After the nightmare start to the drive, the Cornhuskers are still driving inside the OU-34. 

Nebraska needed that play badly. Adrian Martinez has time and finds Omar Manning for a big gain for the Cornhuskers' first first down of the game. Nebraska in Oklahoma territory. 

Zero plays, two false starts on Nebraska to start the game. According to my in-depth reporting and analysis, that's not ideal against the No. 3 team in the country.

Oklahoma's offense cut like a hot knife through butter on its first 75-yard touchdown drive. Outside of a false start from Oklahoma's offensive line, Nebraska failed to create a single negative play. Until Oklahoma got to the goal line, Nebraska forced just one incompletion. 

Rattler went 7-of-8 for 54 yards passing and a rushing score to give Oklahoma a 7-0 lead with a seven-minute scoring drive. Rattler looks calm, cool and patient in the pocket. 

Did Bob Stoops need to make a pick on the pregame broadcast? Nope. He simply donned a "Beat Nebraska" hat. The rivalry kicks off momentarily. Nebraska is set to kick off. 

These two teams haven't played in 11 years, but the rivalry is still fierce. Nebraska and Oklahoma had a minor altercation at midfield during pregame warmups as Oklahoma players faced off, jumped around and taunted Nebraska players as they warmed up. Expect a chippy ball game in Norman.
