The former Panthers kicker made 4 of 5 field goal attempts for the Texans earlier this season and has a chance to start in San Francisco with Robbie Gould set to miss 3-5 weeks with a groin injury. The Niners also worked out Mike Badgley and Brett Maher, per Pelissero.
  • The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with kicker Cody Parkey, per Rapoport. The eighth-year veteran made 19 of 22 field goals for the Browns last year.
  • The Indianapolis Colts signed tight end Michael Jacobson to the practice squad.
