Street Fighter Director gets weird with his new character sketch for The King of Fighters 15

SNK has slowed down the pace of their character reveals and teases for The King of Fighters 15, but nothing can stop the memes from rolling in.

After a few weeks of a break, Street Fighter 5 Director Takayuki Nakayama is back with a new KOF15 character sketch, and it's one of his weirder ones.

Instead of going with the usual old SNK bosses like he's done with most of his artwork previously, Nakayama went back to World Heroes with Mudman of all characters.

The shaman's big, smiling mask takes up most of the silhouette with some of his blue spirits popping out where you'd expect a character's head to normally be — and we can't tell if he's angry, shocked or scared.

Mudman is probably not going to show up as a fighter again anytime soon for a variety of reasons, but his mask and some shamans do make a cameo appearance in KOF15's Pao Pao Café stage actually. So he's around dancing somewhere close by.

We're pretty sure we can already tell which character is going to get their trailer next for SNK's upcoming title, which will be revealed later tonight.
