Onalaska toddler Major Harris died by homicide, says medical examiner


MILWAUKEE (WKBT) — The Onalaska toddler found dead in Milwaukee Thursday was killed by homicide, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The office conducted an autopsy of Major Harris, 3, Friday morning and determined that he suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. No further information is being released.

Major was found a week after his mother, Mallery Muenzenberger, was found dead in Milwaukee. Muenzenberger lived in Onalaska with her son. The reason she traveled to Milwaukee last week is unknown.

MCMEO conducted an autopsy this morning on Major Harris. The cause of death is a gunshot wound to the head and the death has been ruled a homicide. No further information will be released at this time.

A suspect in Muenzenberger’s death, Jaheem Clark, was found to have died by suicide Sunday. The Milwaukee Police Department arrested at least two others in connection with her death this week.

On 10/19/2021 MCMEO conducted an autopsy on Jaheem Clark. The cause of death is a gunshot wound to the head and the death has been ruled a suicide. No further information will be released at this time.
