PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

2022 has had some huge PS5 restocks so far – here are all of the ones we expect to see from January 24-30!

As the supply of PS5 consoles continues to grow, so do the number of restocks happening every week. There have been plenty of stock drops so far this year and it doesn’t look like it’ll change any time soon.

With reports suggesting that regular PS5 restocks will continue well into 2022, gamers don’t have to worry as much about trying to secure a console anymore.

However, it might be wise to buy a PS5 sooner rather than later. With the PSVR 2 releasing with some great titles in the near future, we expect the PS5 to fly off the shelves when the new virtual reality headset arrives.

Here’s all of the information you need to know about PS5 restocks from January 24-30.

All PS5 Restocks – January 24-30

Amazon PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

Amazon PS5 Restock Date: Likely This Week

The continuing unpredictability of Amazon makes it hard to predict when restocks will arrive, but we have noticed a pattern. All of the major next-gen console drops have happened at the end of the month recently.

While this makes a drop at Amazon likely this week, customers need to be ready at any time. Scalper bots ruined the last Amazon PS5 restock so only quick-clickers will be able to secure a console.

However, with Amazon shipping PS5 orders early before, anyone who snags one can expect theirs to arrive very soon!

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock Date: January 26-28 (Rumored)

The usually reliable PlayStation Direct has skipped its regular restocks for the past couple of weeks. This makes us think it is likely that you will be able to buy a PS5 directly from Sony very soon.

Everyone who has signed up for PlayStation Direct restock invites has the random chance of being selected to purchase a PS5. It looks likely that PS Direct will be having a restock late this week – January 26-28.

Also, it’s important to remember to register again for the PS Direct PS5 stock drops otherwise you could still miss out!

Walmart PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

Walmart PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

There hasn’t been a PS5 restock in either of the last two weeks at Walmart so a stock drop before the end of January seems likely.

However, with Walmart delaying plenty of PS5 orders recently, it could just be playing catch-up with the consoles it has already sold.

If the retailer does decide to drop consoles, next-gen console restocks are usually for Walmart+ members first. Then a general sale restock arrives after.

Antonline PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

Antonline PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Online-only retailer Antonline has been a reliable place to get PS5s for months now and there’s nothing to suggest there won’t be another weekly restock there this week.

In fact, Antonline has had more PS5 bundles to sell than ever in 2022. The only downside is that these bundles are pretty pricy, thanks to the amount of extras included.

Turning Twitter notifications on for Antonline is your best bet for ordering a console from there.

GameStop PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

GameStop PS5 Restock Date: Possible in-store restock this week

Over the past couple of months, GameStop has been one of the main sources for PS5 restocks but it might not be dropping this week.

Following a huge online PS5 restock on Friday, January 21 another restock on the website seems unlikely this week. However, if we are lucky, GameStop could have another in-store PS5 restock.

Before last week, GameStop held in-store PS5 restocks for 5 weeks in a row! Missing out last week could indicate that another in-store drop is on the way.

If GameStop does hold another in-store restock event, we will hear about it around midweek. Don’t worry, we’ll update the article with any info as soon as it is announced.

Target PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

Target PS5 Restock Date: Unlikely This Week

Last week, Target held a surprise PS5 restock which caught everyone off guard. While this could happen again this week, it seems unlikely.

Target sold hundreds of PS5 at the start of January, plus the smaller restock a few days ago. Therefore, the retailer probably won’t have any consoles left to sell.

It might still be worth checking your local store for stock though. Some extremely lucky gamers have found PS5s for sale in-store at Target in January.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock: Amazon, PlayStation Direct, Walmart & More Expected to Drop This Week – January 24-30

Best Buy PS5 Restock Date: Unlikely This Week

The first restock of 2022 at Best Buy gave gamers hope that there is more supply of PS5s than ever and this has certainly been the case in 2022 so far.

With the retailer holding its first PS5 restock in 3 weeks on January 20, another one at Best Buy seems very unlikely this week.

To make matters even worse, sometimes Best Buy makes restocks exclusive to customers with a $200 membership. This puts off plenty of potential next-gen gamers.
