Twitter reacts to Bears' Allen Robinson landing at No. 87 on Top 100 Players of 2021 list

NFL Network’s Top 100 Players of 2021 debuted on Sunday, where wide receiver Allen Robinson was the first Bears player on the list. Robinson checked in at No. 87 on the countdown, which was six spots higher than his No. 93 ranking in 2020.

Robinson had 102 catches for 1,250 yards and six touchdowns, which marked his second consecutive 1,000-yard season. His performance is even more impressive given Robinson put up those numbers playing with quarterbacks Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles.

According to this list, Robinson was ranked as the 16th-best wide receiver in the NFL, which is ridiculous.

Twitter had plenty to say about Robinson’s ranking on the Top 100 list, and it wasn’t good. Bears fans or not, many agreed Robinson’s ranking on this list was far too low.

Probably the most underrated reciever in football if this man had a good quarterback not even great throwing him the ball he would be a top 10 reciever.

87 is so disrespectful 🤬

No. 87 on the #NFLTop100 is far too low for #Bears WR Allen Robinson.

He's coming off of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and has had 200 catches in the last two years, yet he's only four spots higher than Corey Davis. The disrespect is real.

Broncos safety Justin Simmons: "I don't think I have ever seen Allen Robinson drop a football. Great route running."

Colts CB Kenny Moore II: "Allen is able to go from 0 to 100 real quick."

Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin: "Allen Robinson is a dominant player."

Since there are 19 WRs on this list, Robinson is WR16.

That’s horrendous.

Top-5 wideout in my book and should easily be Top 40. https://t.co/L5SYuBsNGO
